SSC Routine 2026: The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination routine for 2026 has been officially published in Bangladesh. The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, released the schedule on January 15, 2026.
The routine was confirmed through an official notice on Thursday. The notice was issued on the board’s official website. It was signed by Professor S.M. Kamal Uddin Haidar, the Exam Controller of the board.
According to the published routine, the SSC theory examinations will begin on April 21, 2026. The exams will continue until May 20, 2026. All examinations will be held under the supervision of the education boards.
On the first day, students will sit for the Bangla First Paper examination. The exam will start at 10:00 am and end at 1:00 pm. The Bangla Second Paper examination will take place on April 23, 2026.
The notice also confirms that the theory examinations will run for one month. Students must follow the timetable provided by their respective education boards. No changes to the routine have been announced so far.
After the theory exams end on May 20, there will be a break of 17 days. The SSC practical examinations will then begin on June 7, 2026. The practical exams will continue until June 14, 2026.
The SSC examination is one of the most important public exams in Bangladesh. It is taken by students after completing secondary education. The results play a key role in college admission and future academic planning.
